Highlighting the week, Lavarnway blasted 2 home runs and batting in 6 at Hagerstown (Nationals) July 16. On the season, Lavarnway, 21, owns a .274/.337/.520 line with 12 home runs, 22 doubles and 2 triples with with 49 RBI over 252 at-bats in 65 games with the Spinners in 2009.
