Greenville's Ryan Lavarnway blistered the ball and battered the competition last week, hitting .379/.455/.828 with 3 home runs and 4 doubles, and batting in 13 runs while scoring 6, receiving 94 percent of votes cast and taking SoxProspects.com Player of the Week honors for July 13-19. Highlighting the week, Lavarnway blasted 2 home runs and batting in 6 at Hagerstown (Nationals) July 16.
