4/13 Cup of Coffee: In a fifteen inning marathon, Buffalo downed Pawtucket 4-2. Clay Buchholz started and went 3.2 frames giving upp 2 runs on 3 hits and 4 base on balls. He had 3 strikeouts. Jose Vaquedano pitched 2.1 scoreless innings. He allowed 1 hit and had a strikeout. Billy Traber pitched a clean inning. Daniel Bard continued his dominating start going 2 perfect frames. He had 2 strikeouts. He has now thrown 4 perfect innings of relief. Hunter Jones threw 2 clean innings recording 1 strikeouts. Marcus McBeth went 2 innings allowing a hit and a walk. He fanned 3. Fernando Cabrera pitched an inning allowing 2 hits and a walk. He had 1 strikeout. Carlos Maldonado took the loss allowing 2 runs on a hit and a walk. He did not retire a hitter.
