Sumoza drives in 5 in Spinner win
7/5 Cup of Coffee: Pawtucket edged Lehigh Valley 7-6 on Friday. Devern Hansack went 5 innings allowing 3 runs on 7 hits and 3 BB. He had 6 Ks. Jose Vaquedano threw 1 inning giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and a BB. Hunter Jones (4-2) pitched 2 frames allowing 1 run on 2 hits and a BB. He had 4 Ks. Chris Smith pitched the 9th allowing 1 hit while striking out 1. Jeff Bailey went 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBI. Joe Thurston went 2 for 5 with a home run and 3 RBI. Chris Carter went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 runs scored. Dusty Brown went 2 for 4 with a RBI. Gil Velazquez went 2 for 3 with a run scored.
