Last week OF Jeff Corsaletti bid Portland adieu in style, going .444/.484/.704 (1.188 OPS) in 27 ABs (12hits) with two home runs, one double and a sacrifice fly, batting in six runs while scoring five and running away with SoxProspects.com (position) Player of the Week voting for July 7-13. In 77 games with the Sea Dogs, Corsaletti, 25, was .311/.416/.529 (.945 OPS) in 293 ABs (91 hits), hitting 12 home runs, 20 doubles and four triples and, batting in 50 and scoring 60 runs, with seven stolen bases. He was promoted to Pawtucket as part of a flurry of Sox moves and is currently the 33rd rated prospect in the organization by SoxProspects.com.
