Pawtucket RHP Charlie Zink knuckle balled nine innings of two hit shut out ball against Syracuse (Blue Jays) July 3, earning the win and SoxProspects.com Pitcher of the Week honors for June 30-July 6. Zink, 28, struck out eight while walking only two and held opposing batters to an .071 BAA. He owns a 10-2 record and 2.78 ERA with the Paw Sox in 2008, allowing 30 earned runs (40 runs scored) on 85 hits in 118.2 innings pitched, striking out 76 and issuing 35 bases on balls.
