6/16 Cup of Coffee: On Sunday, Pawtucket edged Lehigh Valley 3-2. David Pauley threw 7 innings allowing 2 runs on 10 hits and 2 BB. He had 2 Ks. Lincoln Holdzkom (5-1) threw 1 scoreless frame allowing 1 hit and 1 BB. Jon Switzer pitched a clean 9th with 1 K. Jeff Bailey went 3 for 4 with a run scored and 2 RBI.
Portland trounced Akron 11-2. Kris Johnson (4-3) went 6 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits and 3 BB. He had 7 Ks. Chad Rhoades threw a clean inning with 1 K.
