Player of the Month, May: Jeff Bailey
Pawtucket OF/DH Jeff Bailey posted a .339/.430/.798 (1.228 OPS) line with 13 HR, 7 doubles and three triples, in 104 ABs (37 hits) over 29 games pacing a hot hitting Paw Sox squad and earning SoxProspects.com (position) Player of the Month honors. Bailey also scored 29 runs while batting in 33 and stole one base. He was named SoxProspects.com (position) Player of the Week for May 12-18 (as well as April 28-May 5). Bailey's hot bat earned him a brief call up in which he made appearances in two games with the big club. For the season Bailey owns a .314/.408/.668 (1.069 OPS) line with 17 HR, 11 doubles and three triples in 191 ABs over 56 games.
