Lowrie to make debut tonight
INF Jed Lowrie will make his major league debut in tonight's game against the Cleveland Indians according to Sox manager Terry Francona. "He'll play," Francona is quoted as saying on MLB.com. "Where I'm not sure. He'll Play third or short, we'll see. Probably third." Lowrie, 24, was called up when 3B Mike Lowell was placed on the DL, April 10. Lowrie is ranked as the fifth rated prospect in the Red Sox system by SoxProspects.com, and was voted a 2008 pre-season all star (SS).
