Ryan Dent signs with Red Sox
What had been thought to be completed weeks ago has now come to fruition. Ryan Dent has come to an agreement with the Red Sox on a contract. The Red Sox signed Dent away from UCLA for $571,000 which exceeded MLB's slot recommendation of $526,500. Dent, the 62nd overall pick in the draft will now report to Fort Myers, FL to play for the Gulf Coast League Red Sox.
