Richardson to Lancaster
More promotion news: LHP Dustin Richardson was promoted to high-A Lancaster yesterday. In 21 starts with Greenville, Richardson was 5-7 with a 3.32 ERA, allowing 37 ER on 86 hits over 99.2 IP, striking out 98 while walking 47 and holding opposing batters to a .235 average. Richardson, 23, was a 5th round pick in the 2006 draft. He was named SoxProspects.com Pitcher of the Month for April. In corresponding moves LHP Mike Rozier was placed on the disabled list and RHP Joseph Guerra was promoted to Greenville.
