Anthony Rizzo signs with Red Sox
According to Baseball America, the Red Sox have signed first baseman Anthony Rizzo to a contract on Wednesday. Rizzo, the Red Sox 6th round pick in the 2007 draft signed for $325,000. He is now expected to report to the Gulf Coast League Red Sox in Fort Myers, FL but it is not known if he will see any game action in 2007.
