In a very close vote Greenville's Jon Still won the battle of the backstops, edging Pawtucket's George Kottaras by two votes to be named SoxProspects.com Player of the Week for June 10-16. Still swung a hot bat to the tune of a .393/.452/.893 (1.344 OPS) line, hitting four HR and two doubles, batting in 11 runs while scoring seven himself in 28 ABs (11 hits). This is Still's first POTW win, on the season he is batting .282/.387/.526 (.913 OPS) in 57 games, with 12 HR, 14 doubles, 1 triple, and batting in 46 runs, while walking 36 times and striking out 52 in 213 ABs (60 hits).
