Moss hits 11th home run in PawSox win


6/9 Cup of Coffee: Friday's action saw Pawtucket defeat Richmond 7-3. David Pauley (3-0) went 6 innings allowing 3 runs on 10 hits and 2 BB. He did not have a K. Manny Delcarmen pitched 2 scoreless innings giving up 1 hit and 1 BB. Jacoby Ellsbury went 2 for 4 and scored 2 runs. Joe McEwing went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. Brandon Moss went 3 for 4. He hit his 11th home run to go along with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Bobby Scales went 2 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI.

Portland defeated Akron 7-1. Clay Buchholz (3-2) went 5 innings and earned the win. He did not allow a run on 2 hits and a BB. He had 2 Ks and lowered his ERA to 1.56. Lincoln Holdzkom threw 2 innings giving up 1 run on 3 hits. He had 1 K. Beau Vaughan pitched 2 scoreless, hitless innings. He allowed 2 BB. Jeff Corsaletti went 2 for 4 and scored 2 runs.
