Player of the Week, April 22-28: Bubba Bell
In the closest week yet (in terms of votes) Bubba Bell edged Brandon Moss by five votes to be named SoxProspects.com Player of the Week. Bell hit a spectacular .522 (12/23) with two HR and two doubles, knocking in 10 runs and scoring 10 of his own. Lancaster's Clear Channel stadium is quickly becoming notorious for its park effects, but Bell went .545 (6/11) on the road at Bakersfield April 27-28. Moss was impressive in limited action (rain out), batting .429 with two HR, a double, and 5 RBI.
