Lars Anderson goes 4 for 5 in losing cause
5/9 Cup of Coffee: On Tuesday, Scranton/WB defeated Pawtucket 3-1. David Pauley started and took the loss. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits in 6 innings of work. He gave up 2 BB and had 3 Ks. Craig Hansen threw 1 scoreless inning. He allowed 1 hit. Bryan Corey threw a perfect inning too close the game. Ed Rogers went 1 for 3 with a run scored. Bobby Scales went 1 for 3.
Portland swept both ends of a doubleheader from Trenton. They took the first game 11-7. Andrew Dobies went 4 innings giving up 7 runs on 9 hits and 4 BB. He had 3 Ks.
