Greenville end 10 game losing streak
5/14 Cup of Coffee: Action on Mother's Day saw Pawtucket edge Toledo 4-3 in 10 innings. Runelvys Hernandez went 5 innings giving up 3 runs on 9 hits and 2 BB. He had 5 Ks. Edgar Martinez threw 2 scoreless innings. He allowed 2 hits and had 3 Ks. Travis Hughes went 2 innings. He did not allow a run on 1 hit and 1 BB. He had 3 Ks. Manny Delcarmen (2-2) got the win throwing 1 scoreless inning. He gave up 1 hit and had 2 Ks. Jacoby Ellsbury went 2 for 4 and scored a run. Joe McEwing went 2 for 5 with a RBI. Chad Spann went 2 for 4. Brandon Moss went 1 for 1 with 2 RBI. He pinch hit with 2 out in the bottom of the 9th and doubled in 2 runs to tie the game.
Binghampton doubled Portland 12-6. Andrew Dobies started and went 5 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 8 hits and 2 BB. He had 2 Ks. Kyle Jackson (3-2) took the loss. He allowed 5 runs, 3 of them earned on 1 hit and 3 BB. He had 1 K. Beau Vaughn threw 1 1/3 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits and 2 BB. He had 2 Ks. Mike James pitched a scoreless 9th. He gave up 1 hit. Cory Keylor went 2 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI. Andrew Pinckney went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. Iggy Suarez went 1 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBI.

He gave up 1 BB. Josh Papelbon went 1 2/3 scoreless innings. He allwed 2 hit and had 1 K. He lowered his ERA to 1.45. Kris Negron went 3 for 5 and scored 2 runs. Lars Anderson went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 RBI. Jon Still went 2 for 4 with a RBI. Chih-Hsien Chiang went 2 for 5. Reid Engel went 2 for 5 with a run scored and a RBI.
