Opening Day is upon us
Thursday April 5 is Opening Day for each of the Red Sox' full season minor league affiliates, and just about when things start to heat up at SoxProspects.com. The PawSox will be kicking off their 2007 campaign in Charlotte against the Knights at 7:15 pm. The Sea Dogs get their start at home vs. the Connecticut Defenders at 6:00 pm. The newly affiliated Lancaster JetHawks start their California League season at home against the Bakersfield Blaze at 6:30 pm (Pacific Time). Lastly, Jon Lester will face the RiverDogs in Charleston in his first rehab start for the Greenville Drive at 7:15 pm. All of the games can be followed online at MiLB.com, and many can be heard streaming online at the teams' respective websites. Also, fans are encouraged to join the SoxProspects message board and check out the ML Gameday threads, where community members discuss and dissect each days' happenings in the Red Sox minor league world.
