Hansack Ks 10 in second impressive start
04/12 Cup of Coffee: Last night, Pawtucket defeated Durham 5-3. Devern Hansack started and pitched 5 innings allowing 1 run and 2 BB. He had 10 Ks. Manny Declarmen picked up the win throwing 2 scoreless innings allowing 2 hits and a BB while striking out 4. Craig Breslow earned the save pitching 1 scoreless inning allowing 1 hit. Ed Rogers went 3 for 5. Joe McEwing went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI. Brandon Moss went 2 for 5 with a RBI. Bobby Scales went 3 for 5 and scored a run. Chad Spann went 2 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI. Portland got by New Britain 8-5. Andrew Dobies started and went 3 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 BB. He had 3 Ks. Barry Hertzler went 2 2/3 innings and picked up the win.
