Little discussed 2005 39th round pick out of Nicholls State (LA) Billy Wayne "Bubba" Bell has been voted SoxProspects.com's inaugural Player of the Week, batting .533 with 4 HR, 2 doubles, and 9 RBI (8/15 in three games). His performance garnered Bell a full 74.4 percent of votes cast in the SoxProspects.com poll. Bell, a 24-year-old lefty (batting), is the Lancaster JetHawks (high-A) starting center fielder.
