Sea Dogs win Eastern League
The Portland Sea Dogs are Eastern League Champions after defeating Akron 8-5 on Sunday. Brandon Moss won Eastern League Playoff MVP honors after hitting .361 with 5 home runs and 10 RBI in the playoffs. Look for details of the game shortly in Don Hyslop's final Cup-of-Coffee of the season. Moss and Devern Hansack are candidates to join the big league club now that the Eastern League season is over.
