On Saturday, Pawtucket defeated Buffalo 8-2. David Pauley started and went 7 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and a BB. He had 1 K. Barry Hertzler pitched the last 2 innings. He did not give up a hit walking 1 and striking out 2. Dustin Pedroia went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and a RBI. David Murphy went 3 for 5 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Trent Durrington went 2 for 4 and scored twice. Portland took both games of a doubleheader against New Hampshire. They blanked the New Hampshire team 6-0 in the first contest. Jose Vaquedano went 5 innings. He di not allow a run on 3 hits. He had 3 BB and 8 Ks. Kyle Jackson pitched 2 scoreless innings of relief allowing 1 hit. He gave up 1 BB and had 3 Ks. Tyler Minges, Chad Spann and Zach Borowiak all went 2 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI. The Sea Dogs took the second game 7-3. Devern Hansack went 6 shotout innings giving up 5 hits while walking 1.
