David Pauley started and gave up 7 runs on 12 hits in 5 innings. He had 2 Ks. Tim Bausher went 1 1/3 innings allowing 1 hit and 3 BB. He had a K. Craig Breslow went 2 2/3 innings allowing 3 hits while striking out 2. Brad Baker was credited with the win. He pitched 1 inning giving up 2 hits and a BB. He had 1 K.Dustin Pedroia went 3 for 5 and scored 2 runs. Jeff Bailey went 2 for 3. Ron Calloway went 3 for 5 with 3 RBI. Trenton blasted Portland 15-2.
