5/19 Cup of Coffee
The Pawtucket - Buffalo game was postponed due to rain and Portland had the night off. Wilmington defeated Myrtle Beach 10-3. Jeff Corsaletti was 2 for 3 with 2 Hrs and 4 RBI.Mickey Hall went 2 for 4 and scored 2 runs. Iggy Suarez went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI. Andrew Pinckney went 2 for 4. Luis Mendoza started and went 6 1/3 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 7 hits and 0 BB. He had 2 Ks. Greenville lost to Lexington 9-2. Mark Wagner went 3 for 4 and scored a run. Kevin Guyette started and went 4 innings. He gave up 0 runs on 1 hit and 2 BB. He struck out 4. Hunter Jones took the loss going 3 1/3 innings. He gave up 6 runs on 7 hits. He did not allow a walk and struck out 4. Player of The Night: Jeff Corsaletti whose 2 homer night produced 2 runs and 4 RBI.
