He was followed by Cla Meredith,who threw a single hitless inning. Manny Delcarmenthrew 2 hitless innings and struck out 3. Mike Buntanaypitched 1 hitless inning and picked up the win.Jeff Bailey led the hitting attack going 2 for 4 with a homer. Willie Harris also went 2 for 4. In AA, Portlandlost 5-1 to Connecticut. David Pauleystarted and went 6 innings for the SeaDogs giving up 3 runs and he took the loss. Craig Hansenpitched 2 hitless innings and struck out 3. Luis Jiminezwas 2 for 4 with a home run.
