Fall/Winter League Roundup: AFL season ends, Polanco pitches well in Venezuelan League
With three other leagues in full swing, the Arizona Fall League has come to a close for the 2025 season. The Salt River Rafters had a tough end to the season, getting shut out in their lone playoff game to end their campaign. This week's roundup covers all action from November 10-16, and stats for participating Sox players can be found at the SoxProspects.com Fall & Winter Leagues page.

Arizona Fall League
Johanfran Garcia and Stanley Tucker both started all three of the Rafters' final three games this past week. Garcia caught one game and was the DH for the other two, and he went 2 for 9 with a double, a HBP, and an RBI. He finishes the fall with a .224/.350/.388 line in 19 games, with five doubles, two home runs, 10 RBI, and 12 walks. Tucker was also 2 for 9 in the final week, singling twice and stealing his 13th bag of the fall. He ends his strong AFL season with a .278/.374/.316 line in 24 games, with three doubles, 15 RBI, 10 runs, and 12 walks. Nelly Taylor played in one game last week and went 0 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts.
Jay Allmer and Brandon Neely were the lone members of the Sox organization to appear in a game on the mound. Allmer faced just two batters in his lone appearance, walking one and striking out the other. Neely had a rough outing, surrendering a home run, two walks, and three earned runs in one inning pitched. He punched out one of the six hitters he faced. Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (Puerto Rico)
Right-hander Wyatt Olds appeared in just one game this past week for Caguas and continued to struggle. He allowed a pair of earned runs in one inning, giving up two hits and two walks with one strikeout. His ERA has ballooned to 15.43 in 2 1/3 frames this fall, with four strikeouts and four walks.

Venezuelan Professional Baseball League
Eybersson Polanco (pictured) had a nice week, tossing 1 1/3 innings of scoreless ball in his lone outing. The righty, who was acquired as an international free agent in 2021, allowed three hits but did not walk a batter and punched out one. He drops his ERA this fall to 3.48 in 10 1/3 innings with nine strikeouts and six walks.
