2011 MLB Amateur Draft picks 17-33

The first round of the 2011 MLB Amateur Draft has concluded. Here is a rundown of the picks from second half of the first round. The Red Sox made two selections with their first selection at #19 overall with RHP Matt Barnes. The pick was the highest for the Red Sox since 2003. At #26 overall the Red Sox selected C Blake Swihart out of V. Sue Cleveland HS in New Mexico.
