Pawtucket, Portland to play in Futures at Fenway
The Portland Sea Dogs and Pawtucket Red Sox will participate in the 2011 edition of Futures at Fenway on Saturday, August 20, according to a team release. Portland will face the Binghamton Mets (NYM) at 1:05 p.m, followed by Pawtucket against the Syracuse Chiefs (WAS).
This year marks the fifth anniversary of Futures at Fenway, and the third appearance in the event by the Sea Dogs, who last played at Fenway in 2009. Fans who purchased tickets to last year's rain-shortened event featuring the Lowell Spinners and Salem Red Sox will be contacted about a special pre-sale for this year's event.
