Cameron to DL, Nava recalled
According to DJ Bean of WEEI.com, the Red Sox have placed outfielder Mike Cameron on the disabled list and recalled Daniel Nava from Triple-A Pawtucket. Cameron is still dealing with the abdominal injury he suffered earlier this season, needing frequent days off and playing through pain when he was in the lineup. Nava was optioned to Pawtucket on July 22nd to make room for Jeremy Hermida, who was activated off the disabled list but has since been designated for assignment on. In 11 games since returning to Pawtucket, Nava is batting .310 with a home run and 6 RBI. He hit .286 with a home run and 16 RBI in his first stint with the big league club earlier this season.
