Four more late-round picks sign


Several media outlets including ESPNBoston are reporting that the Red Sox signed four more players from their 2010 draft class. Righty Michael Gleason, who was selected in the 34th round, struck out 90 batters in 94.0 innings in his senior season at Cal State-Chico. 40th round pick Luke Yoder is an outfielder who hit .347 with 15 homers and 46 RBI for Cal-Poly this season. James Kang, selected in the 45th round was an ABCA/Rawlings Division III Second Team All-American as a shortstop for Pitzer College in California. 49th round pick Trygg Larsson-Danworth is a two-time All-Ivy first baseman from Yale who hit .373 with an OPS of 1.149 in 2010. All four players will head to Ft. Myers to open the season in the Gulf Coast League.
