2010 Futures at Fenway announced
The Red Sox today announced that the 2010 Futures at Fenway games will take place on July 10 and feature the Short Season-A Lowell Spinners and High-A Salem Red Sox, the latter becoming the first Boston affiliate based outside of New England to participate in the event. The Spinners will play the first game of the doubleheader at 12:05 pm against the Jamestown Jammers, an affiliate of the Florida Marlins. The second game will feature Salem taking on the Potomac Nationals, the Carolina League affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
Tickets for the event will go on sale this Saturday, February 13, and range from $5 to $30. The fifth-annual event features reduced prices on concessions and autograph sessions with players.
