Portice makes debut in AFL
11/2 Cup of Coffee: Eammon Portice saw his first action in the Arizona Fall League on Saturday during Surprise's 7-1 win over Scottsdale. He threw 1 inning allowing an unearned run on 1 hit and a walk. He had 2 strikeouts. TJ Large also threw an inning. He gave up an unearned run on 1 hit. He had a strikeout. The last place Scorpions saw their record fall to 7-15.
In Hawaii, Honolulu edged the North Shore 2-1 allowing the Honu just 1 hit in the game. Ryan Kalish went o for 4 in the game while Jonathan Hee went hitless in 3 at bats.
