SoxProspects.com has learned that OF Ryan Kalish was promoted to high-A Lancaster after tonight's game game against Lexington. In 96 games with Greenville this season Kalish, 20, posted a .281/.376/.356 (.732 OPS) line, with three home runs, 16 doubles and one triple over 360 ABs, scoring 51 runs and batting in 32, and took 53 bases on balls (76 K). He also swiped 18 bases and was caught stealing only four times. Lancaster has 18 regular season games remaining before the California League playoffs begin Sept. 6. Kalish is currently the sixth ranked prospect in the organization by SoxProspects.com.
