Doubront to Lancaster

LHP Felix Doubront has been promoted to high-A Lancaster from Greenville in time for the JetHawks playoff run. Doubront was 12-8 with a 3.67 ERA in 23 starts with the Drive, allowing 47 earned runs on 115 hits over 115.1 innings pitched, striking out 118 while issuing only 24 bases on balls and holding opposing batters to a .260 BAA. Signed as an international free agent out of Venezuela in 2004, Doubront is currently 28th ranked prospect in the organization by SoxProspects.com.
