Pawtucket RHP Devern Hansack dominated the SoxProspects.com vote like he did the competition last week, earning two wins over 15 scoreless innings and Pitcher of the Week honors for June 23-39. On June 24, Hansack allowed only two Richmond (Braves) batters reach base and struck out four, while at Rochester (Twins) on June 29 he struck out eight while, again, allowing two hits, holding opposing hitters at a .082 BAA on the week. Hansack, 28, owns a 4-8 record with a 4.39 ERA, allowing 39 ER on 77 hits (.252 BAA) in 80 innings pitched over 15 starts with Pawtucket in 2008. He was also named International League Pitcher of the Week for June 23-29.
