2008 Draft Coverage
SoxProspects.com is the place to be for the 2008 Draft if you're a Red Sox fan. Bloggers Jonathan Singer, Dan Hanson, and Chris Mellen will be reporting on the Red Sox Draft picks here in real time. The 2008 Draft page will be updated as the day goes along. And the Draft Day Thread will be buzzing with draft discussion. The draft starts today at 2:00 pm ET, and the first and supplemental rounds will be televised on ESPN2. There will only be five rounds today, but the Sox have seven picks on day one:
- 1st Round: #30
- Supplemental Round: #45 (for Eric Gagne)
- 2nd Round: #77
- 3rd Round: #85 (for Hunter Morris)
- 3rd Round: #108
- 4th Round: #142
- 5th Round: #172
