Thurston's 4 hits lead Pawtucket to win
5/2 Cup of Coffee: On the first day of May, Pawtucket defeated Syracuse 9-3. Devern Hansack started and went 4 2/3 innings. He allowed 2 runs on 6 hits and a BB. He had 5 Ks. Abe Alvarez (2-1) went 1 2/3 frames and did not allow a run on 3 hits and 2 BB. Eric Hull threw an inning giving up a run on 2 hits. He had 2 Ks. Jon Switzer retired the 2 batters he faced.
