Paw Sox stalwart 1B/OF/DH Jeff Bailey swatted three home runs and three doubles in 31 ABs last week, scoring 10 runs and batting in eight, while hitting at a .419/.471/.806 clip (1.277 OPS), earning SoxProspects.com Player of the Week honors. Bailey, 29, is playing in his fifth season in the Red Sox organization since being signed as a minor league free agent after the 2003 season and has spent the majority of his time at Pawtucket. He is off to a good start in 2008, posting a .323/.405/.542 (.947 OPS) line with five home runs, six doubles and has batted in 16 runs in 96 ABs over 28 games with Pawtucket. Honorable Mention goes to Greenvile's Mike Jones for perpetuating a 25 game hitting streak while going .444/.484/.667 on the week.
