Pitcher of the Week, 4/28-5/4: Michael Bowden
Scattering four hits over six innings pitched, striking out six (walking none) and allowing one run in his May 2 start at Trenton (Yankees), Portland RHP Michael Bowden was a hard luck loser but was recognized by the SoxProspects.com community as the winner of Pitcher of the Week voting. Bowden, 21, is 1-3 with a 3.26 ERA in 30.1 IP over six starts, with the Sea Dogs in 2008, allowing 11 ER on 25 hits and walking 11 while striking out 35.
