Tejeda and Reza Promoted
Oscar Tejeda and Aaron Reza were both promoted today in moves by the organization. Reza, off to a hot start, posted a .353/.441/.667/1.107 line with 3 homers and 11 RBI in 15 games with Greenville while playing a flawless second base. Reza will join the Pawtucket Red Sox.
Tejeda will join the Greenville Drive fresh off his stint in XST. Tejeda had been slowed this spring by a staph infection as it was expected he would have started the season with the Drive. After starting 2007 in the Gulf Coast League, Tejeda continued to impress with a .298/.347/.394/.740 line as a 17 year old with the Lowell Spinners.
