Player of the Week, April 7-13: Dusty Brown
Pawtucket C Dusty Brown finished off a torrid week at the plate to earn SoxProspects.com Player of the Week for April 7-13 as voted on by the community. Brown, 25, posted a .455/.533/.909 line while driving in 4 runs and scoring 3 of his own. A member of the Portland Sea Dogs last year, Brown finished off 2007 in the Arizona Fall League where he was named a 2007 Arizona Fall League Rising Star. He's known as an excellent defensive catcher with a very strong arm.
