Diaz extends hitting streak to 7 games


10/15 Cup of Coffee: On Sunday, the Honolulu Sharks defeated Waikiki 5-2 to move into first place in the Hawaiian Winter League. Daniel Bard threw 2 scoreless innings of relief to record his second hold. He did not allow a hit during his 2 innings of work but gave up 1 BB. He had 3 Ks. His ERA now stands at 1.35. Argenis Diaz continued his hitting streak extending it to 7 games. He is 17 for 30 over that stretch. He now leads the League in hitting with a .450 BA with a OBP of .476 and a OPS of 1.051. Jason Place went 1 for 4 in the game. There was no action in the Arizona Fall League on Sunday.
