Acquired from the independent Kansas City T-Bones just a week prior, Lancaster OF Brad Correll had a week for the ages going .500/.533/1.857 (2.390 OPS) with 6 HR and 12 RBI and ran away with the voting for SoxProspects.com Player of the Week honors for June 16-23. His four HR on June 23 tied the California League record set by Lancaster's Aaron Bates earlier this year (he also batted in eight runs that night). The 26-year-old Correll was drafted by Cincinnati in the 29th round of the '02 draft and has six years of pro-ball experience with eleven different teams, mostly in the low minors.
