Pitcher of the Week, June 10-16: Bowden
Rebounding from his worst start of the year, Portland RHP Micahel Bowden allowed one ER while striking out eight in 6.2 IP against the same Akron (AA Indians) team that had humbled him just six days before, which was good enough to earn a win, and SoxProspects.com Pitcher of the Week honors for June 10-16. Bowden surrendered three hits and two walks in the 6.2 inning rematch. This is Bowden's third POTW win (4/15-21 & 5/6-12), tying him with his Portland teammate Clay Buchholz.
