Last night Pawtucket was not in action as the International League All Stars blanked their Pacific Coast League counterparts 6-0. The same scenario existed for Portland as the Eastern League All Star game was played with the Southern Division coming out on top 5-3.Wilmington edged Frederick 5-4. Jeff Corsaletti went 3 for 4 with a run scored and a RBI. John Otness went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI. Jason Johnson went 7 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 10 hits. He did not walk anyone and had 1 K. Greenville defeated Asheville 11-5. John Barnes went 5 innings and gave up 4 runs on 5 hits and 4 BB. Chad Rhoades went 2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 1 hit and a BB. He had 3 Ks. Jason Blackey pitched 2 scoreless innings. He allowed 1 hit and had 1 K. Mickey Hall went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and 3 RBI. Christian Lara went 3 for 4 with a run scored and 2 RBI. Tony Granadillo went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and a RBI. Chris Turner went 2 for 3 with a run scored and 2 RBI. The Lowell - Mahoning V game was postponed. In the Gulf Coast League, the Red Sox lost to the Pirates 3-1. Ryan Colvin went 2 scoreless innings, He gave up 2 hits and a BB. He had 1 K. Joseph Guerra went 5 innings.
