Last night, Pawtucket got by Indianapolis 7-4. Marc Deschenes started and went 5 innings. He allowed 0 runs on 5 hits. He did not walk a batter and struck out 4. Tim Bausher took over blew the save but picked up the win in 1 inning of work. He allowed 3 runs on 3 hits and 1 BB. He had 2 Ks. David Murphy went 2 for 3 and scored twice. Dustin Mohr went 1 for 4 and had a RBI. The Portland - Altoona game was postponed due to rain. Kinston defeated Wilmington 3-1. Matt Goodson took the loss going 6 2/3 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits and 1 BB. He struck out 6. Jeff Corsaletti went 2 for 3. Andrew Pinckney went 1 for 4 and scored a run. Mickey Hall went 1 for 3. Finally Greenville blasted Charleston 10-2. Kevin Guyette went 6 innings allowing 1 run on 3 hits and 2 BB. He had 2 Ks. Hunter Jones pitched the final 3 innings allowing 1 run on 2 hits, He did not walk a batter and had 2 Ks. Jay Johnson went 1 for 4 and scored 2 runs. Matt Mercurio went 2 for 4 scored a run and had 2 RBI. Mark Wagner went 1 for 2 with a home run, 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. He also walked 3 times.
Player of The Night: Kevin Guyette who allowed just 1 run over 6 innings. He gave up 3 hits in the victory over Charleston.
